Users try out a lot of apps but decide which ones they want to stop using within the first 3-7 days. The key to success is to get users hooked during that critical first 3-7 day period, and then keeping them engaged long term.

Meet Mohammad, Senior Account Coordinator at Adikteev. From Beirut to Paris, Mohammad’s journey has been anything but ordinary. With a background in engineering and a passion for people, he’s carved out a unique space at Adikteev—blending data-driven strategy with authentic client relationships. In this interview, Mohammad shares how he got started, what keeps him inspired, and how Adikteev’s inclusive culture helps him thrive both professionally and personally.

Tell me your story, how you got into Adikteev, and what you do here.

My name is Mohammad Hatoum. I'm Lebanese, and I moved to France in 2020. I completed my master's in management and global management here. Afterward, I found Adikteev online, applied for the Account Manager position, and got accepted. That was honestly one of the best things that happened to me! Since then, I’ve been working at Adikteev for over three years. I’m now a Senior Account Coordinator. I mainly handle clients in the gaming, casual gaming, and casino app sectors. My role involves managing everything from campaign creation to optimization, working closely with clients on a daily basis to achieve their goals. We also meet clients periodically to present our ideas and the efforts we’ve made throughout the quarter. To further strengthen our relationships, we organize lunches and dinners, which I really enjoy.

What's your favorite part of your job?

I absolutely love it! I’m a people person, and while it might sound cliché, I really enjoy working with people. Our job revolves around communicating with clients, understanding their needs, and optimizing their campaigns. This allows me to connect closely with both our clients and colleagues. Additionally, I’m also interested in the data and analytics side of things, especially since I come from an engineering background.

Over the past three years, my passion for this job has only grown as I’ve gained more industry knowledge. What’s truly fulfilling is seeing the success of the campaigns and watching them scale. What’s great about this role is that you can directly see the results of your work. You get to witness the campaign optimizations you’ve made and see performance improve over time, which makes it easier to measure success. That’s one of the reasons I love this job.

What’s the work environment like at Adikteev?

This is actually one of my favorite topics to talk about because my experience here has been life-changing. Before joining Adikteev, I worked at different companies where being LGBTQ+ or simply being yourself wasn’t really accepted. So, coming to Adikteev, I was a bit skeptical at first, given my past experiences. But honestly, it’s been completely different here, and that’s one of the reasons I love working here. We have over 40 nationalities among our 120 employees, which makes for a very diverse and inclusive environment. And the queer community here is very active and supported. Before starting in the office, I wondered if I could be myself—whether I could express my identity openly—but it was never an issue. Everyone here is welcoming, and I’ve never faced any discrimination.

Being able to be myself has made me much more productive and less stressed in my role. I’m very comfortable at work, and I feel good about speaking openly with both colleagues and clients. It’s also great to see that Adikteev supports not just the LGBTQ+ community but also individuals of all gender identities, which makes the workplace even more inclusive. If anything, being able to fully express who I am is one of the best aspects of working here.

Outside of work, what do you do?

I read a lot, and I also enjoy watching TV shows, movies, and documentaries to learn more about what's going on in the world. I’m really interested in global events. I love swimming and everything related to the beach, sand, and sun. Of course, living in Paris isn’t ideal for that, but whenever I get a chance to travel, I head to the coast. I also enjoy reading about fashion and vintage shopping. I’m an animal lover and enjoy spending time in nature. I have a little dog, and having him gives me the perfect excuse to go hiking and explore forests and nature.

How do you balance your work life with all of your passions?

Adikteev offers great flexibility, which is one of the things I appreciate the most. We only work from the office two days a week, and the rest of the time, we can work from home. This flexibility means that if I have the opportunity to travel, whether within France or abroad, I can do so. For example, I often go to the south of France, where there are beaches, and I’m still able to work from there. We also work half-days on Fridays, which gives me time in the afternoon to walk my dog in the forest. In addition to that, the company encourages involvement in social projects. For example, we’re going to volunteer at an animal shelter, taking care of the animals and helping with various tasks. We also have events like a run for Women’s Day to support feminism and women’s rights. These initiatives, combined with work flexibility, allow me to pursue both my passions and contribute to meaningful causes with my colleagues.
